Default Xvid and Vegas
Hey, i'm new to this forum and a beginner with Vegas 5.

I want to add video media to my timeline in Vegas 5.0a. The clips are .avi format, encoded with Xvid.

When i try and add them, it only adds the audio.

Is vegas 5.0a non-supportive of Xvid, or is there a way i can fix this?

Re-install your codec. Try k-lite package or download the morgan-jpeg codec.
