When trying to trim down the clips in the timeline after U import it. It keeps locking and frezzing up which makes it hard for me to get the clip placement correct.

Can anyone plz help me with this problem.

Sometimes, if you have the video preview pane open and set at best quality (Full) it can eat your memory. Try just previewing at draft quality.

Possibly also if you are reading and writing to the same drive problems can occur. Investing in another HD is always worthwhile.

Another good tip is to close the preview pane when rendering too. Its just another process that eats up memory.
