Default Video Vegas 5 Problem

if this problem has already been handled please link me, i did search.

well it seems when i try to open a clip over 700mb the audio is about 5 hours long and the video is normal length and the percent stays at 0, any ideas on what this could me,

If the video is a slurped from P2P, your audio is probably variable bitrate. Demultiplex, convert the audio to WAV and then and multiplex the video and audio streams.

in vegas how do i not includ audio when opening something?

Ages since I got my hands dirty with vegas. You'll probably have to "unlink" the audio and video once it's on the timeline.
