| | | | | Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers... |

| | Import vegas projects into Premiere pro? Is there any way to import vegas project files into premiere pro at all?
Probably there isn't, but worth asking anyways. Any help would be appreciated.

| | Well, Vegas 5 does support Edit Decision Lists (EDL's) but I think they state that they are Vegas compatible only lol (which defeats the one of the main purposes of using EDL's really).
An EDL is a text summary of a project, listing all the media it uses and denoting where that media is placed on the timeline. It also contains information on the mark-in and mark-out points. It doesn't include effect information or pointers to where the media is located on the drive.
