Trouble importing AVI with Vegas 8

Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Trouble importing AVI with Vegas 8

Hi i am trying to import an avi file into my project but it imports very fuzzy and in black and white.

The AVI file is H.264/MPEG-4 AVC encoded and plays fine in media players, however when i try and import it into vegas it appears like this.

Does anyone have any ideas?
