Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Chances are you have "obscured" it with one of the surrounding panes.

Make a screen grab of what are seeing and post it here.

Wrong!
The keyframe timeline appears along the bottom of the Pan/Crop window, the FX Window or along the bottom of a track onm the timeline IF you're using track motion.

Whatr exactly are you trying to do?

Keyframe AnimationThe Keyframe Controller is displayed at the bottom of Video FX, Video Media Generators, Track Motion, and Transition dialogs and is used to add and remove keyframes and control the FX parameters for individual keyframes.

1] Place and Event on the Timeline

2] Apply an FX to that Event

3] Locate the FX Keyframe controller and apply changes to the Fx there.

You really need to understand the layout of your s/w. Read the Online Help, download the manual and spend some more time understanding just what is there. By asking us for a Fx Keyframe controller on the PANE separation area indicates very strongly you do need to bone-up on your navigation around the workspace. That's OK, we've all been there before.

I been using vegas for 6 years and I dont even know what the k frame controller is....
I presume thay mean the fx keyframetracks that appear under a timeline track??? You need to click a widget to make them uncollapse.

See pic. Under ' level 100% ' - well I think that is it....

Correct. BUT - a keyframe won't appear unless a) you manually create one by adding it directly on the keyframe 'track' (diamond symbol with a plus sign in it) or b) you change a setting in the mask, FX (or whatever) and then move along the timeline. If you change the settings at the first keyframe point, that setting will remain in force (on that clip) until another keyframe is added with a different setting.

Clear as mud, but difficult to explain.

For everyitng but masking and copying k frames I tend to stick with the k frame tracks under the timeline - or my small brain gets confused...

My error - I misunderstood.
