Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default How to get this kind of transition

How do I get this kind of black flashing transition, thats inbetween the clips in the video. The kind of closing and opening, throughout the video.

I hope I explained it right

Geezer - you gotta just fiddle to learn. Play with fx and key frames and transitions. You need to get a good feel of the palette of things you have that can be used to build a look.

' how to abc ' editing will get you able to do one thing but you need to really learn by doing and palying to get good.

That is a simple fade to black and back up. Probably a prest transition for this but the best way to learn is do it from scratch.

I would add a composite level envalope and add points to fade up and down. Fiddle and use the help file - its good.

Regarding the original post, the video is no longer available so I can't see what the OP was talking about in order to assist. :(

You have to click on the link at the top of the video (where it says "You Tube - Brooke Daviesarkness")

It's just a very quick fade to black and back. Just often and quick. That is all.
