ok so i use sony vegas pro 8.0(a i believe) and a friend of mine sent me a video to use and it worked in her vegas and when i open it in mine all i get is audio. so i checked the file(they're supposed to be .avi) and they're .sfk

i was wondering how do i fix this so i get video and audio....maybe even just video because that's all i need.

Then she didn't send you video, she sent you sfk files which are pictorial representations of waveforms.
