Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Question:Shaking your Screen(Vegas)

Hey i was wondering if its possible with Vegas to make your screen shake.
If there is like an fx for it.
For example: My movie is about some kind of earthquake but i want to make my screen shake to make it look a way cooler. Is there any way to do that?
Thanks if anyone could help me out

What was it called? It was called Vegas Quake!!

OK, you need to get busy with the Pan/Crop tool. You need to make positional changes to the Frame. Right click on the keyframes and experiment/use the various transitional/motion presets - HOLD will give a truly stunning abrupt feel. Use lotsa left and right and up and down in and out is good too for that . .. er .. in and out look!

There is much MUCH you can do for this: Motion blur and staggering the frame rates and . . much more. Vegas Quake was a brilliant 3rd party application.

Oh yes, don;t forget the audio! Lotsa rumbles, crashes and stuff . . . mix-up the stereo and panning and make the crashes if STAGE left be heard STAGE left too! Freaks the viewer no end. I've had people even LOOK left!!!!

Great project to do!!

Grazie

I think i tried vegas quake or something similar ages ago - didint like - prefer the control that track motion / pan crop gave me.

Use some motion blur too.
