Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default what's with movie maker?

I decided to edit my own video on my PC which is an XP. Movie Maker simply won't allow me to edit, I think I've tried almost everything to rectify the problem, but it still won't work.
I've tried other editing software, but none are as easy as Movie Maker. Has anybody else had this problem? If so, what did you do??

WMM is horrible and doesn't have anything going for it. If you're serious about editing then download some trials of Premiere pro, Vegas, Videostudio to see which you prefer then purchase a copy of those

Thanks TrueBassist...........I was so determined to use WMM that I wasn't exploring my options. I really appreciate the posts encouraging me to branch out. I now love Vegas editing. Although I'm a bit unclear about the transitions.......
