Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Video Black-Out ??

I made a compilation video about football-club Arsenal.

Containing alot of video files, it's about 75MB.

Everything works, except for the part where it blurs out to black.

Everything is shown, video and audio up to the moment 03:16 to 04:31 where it just completely blacks out, though the audio keeps running.

And from 04:31 to 04:41, the 2 text-media's i inserted DO show.

Anybody have any idea what's going on?

HERE'S ANOTHER VIDEO WHERE THE SAME THING HAPPENS: YouTube - V. Persie - Compilation

Also one of my own made video's, save it to your pc with a programme called ''Save2Pc'' or whatever programme you use and load it in sony vegas or Gspot (the codec programme) and check it out, cause i can't seem to figure it out

^ Picture of the complete file.

All the video parts were files taken from another video that was already online.

ALL video's were .AVI files

Ok. An avi is really just a wrapper. Different avi files may still use different codes. Search for and download GSpot, open a few clips in it and look at the codec info. I bet the clip that's showing black is a different codec.

This is not a solution, but further diagnosis of the problem.

Could be that i might have it all wrong, but ..

When you render the entire file, don't you give them all 1 codec?

Yes you do. But I was referring to your SOURCE videos. Your comment ALL video's [sic] were .AVI files. suggested to me you had a number of different source files. If the source was one file only then I'm barking up the wrong tree.

That won't really help as all it'll enable us to do is see the resulting problem. We need to see the source and/or the veg file to see the cause.
