How do I add film clutter like you see on MTV and young video gaming shows?
Stirkes, scratches, countdowns etc... to your videos without having the black show?

I want to have a video play and just the lines or whatever on top of the video, I was looking at istock.com and others but notice they have a solid black background.

I am assuming you have the pro version of vegas ( not sure if other versions can do this).

Place the 'effects' video on the track above the target video, select 'add' as the compositing mode ( icon next to level slider in track header )
