Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

What format were you rendering to? Is your system running NTFS on its hard drives?

Grazie

Do you see 3 separate files on your hard drive? Or are you saying that you have 3 files named :

MyFile1.avi
MyFile2.avi
MyFile3.avi

How did you select the area of the timeline you wanted to render?

Grazie

Yeah there were files saved as you posted. Basically split them up in to 3 parts labelled as you said. I selected the timeline using the loop region markers.

How many markers do you have in the timeline?

you probably had the render regions set that would give you multiple files

If you had 4 Markers, and you rendered 3 separate times between the sets of Markers, then yes. If you have 4 markers and you selected ALL the markers then no.

Can you find out if your HD is set for fat32 OR NTFS? Fat32 will split files on the hard disc, whereas NTFS will make one big file.

Have you tried to import the rendered file/s? Do you get ONE big file?

This is all very odd . . .

Grazie
