How to do this Effect

Hi guys. I have Sony vegas 8 and just wondering how they did some of the effects in this film.
#1 the intro with the flowers and the little black dimming around the edges
#2 The text followed by the intro "edenvisuals"
#3 How they made the people dissapear. im guessing that they filmed with and withouht character with an image, overlayed it with smoke and added a camera shake with blur as i can see from the time lapses sometimes but im no professional and can do with some professional advice

Let me put it this way - how would you expalin on a talkboeard how to drive a car to someone who cant drive...

Sorry, but theanswer wouldbe long and probably unhelpfuland teach you little. There are no quick fixes to good editing, as with all creative processes it takes time time and more time.

The best thing t do is to just play play play, find your way around the editior frst - learn all the buttons and try out all the effects, then use some lateral thinking and apply those tools. When you have done that you may nt need to ask the question !
