I have a project where I've imported video from a DVD and sync'd it up with a different audio source. (Using V6).

However, when I go to output...Render As....and, in this case, select the DVD PAL template and in Custom settings, change everything to the highest possible quality setting, the output result is not as good quality (picture) as the imported file. Also, the outputted file is smaller in size.

Is there a way of outputting without re-encoding the original video file, as in this case I'm only changing the audio.

Google for a free demultiplexer to demux (split) audio and video steams, replace audio, then mux (merge) back without re-encoding the video stream.
