Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Error when attempting to add text in Vegas 8
I get an error when I try to "Insert Text Media". Here is a picture of the error

Did I happen to mess around with my files and mess something up?

Try holding the shift key when firing up Vegas 8 see if that helps, that sets the V8 back to default. If that fails uninstall and then re-install. If that fails try posting on the Vegas forums web site.
