Hi,
I must be doing something wrong. I have gotten text to appear on the screen over video, but I cannot edit it! I right click on the text clip and select "Edit Generated Media..." and I change everything, but nothing shows up changed in the text. Is there an "Accept" button or something I am missing - I can only close the dialog box by hitting the close button in the upper right corner....

Sorry for such a basic question, I am trying to finish something in a hurry!

on the top right of the text media there is a button click on that and the text properties box will open up, press the upper right x to close.

Thsi button opens the same dialog box I was getting before, but now all the editing works, whether I open it with the button or if I open the right click menu - I have no idea why the clip I was working on yesterday would not change - I even deleted the text - no change!

Since then, I had deleted the clip and created a new text clip since I could not edit it, so maybe there was a problem with that first clip.

Thanks anyway - nice to know about the button too! And that the intuitive functions seem to work correctly afterall!
