Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Need 1 frame image to repeat

Hi,
I just moved to Vegas from Windows Movie Maker - how wonderful to be able to work more than 2 minutes without a crash - happend on all 3 laptops so I assume Movie Maker is just too buggy.

Anywya, I have figured out what I need for my simple project, but there is one thing I used to do in Movie Maker that I have not found an equivelent to in Vegas. Sometimes I want the freeze the last frame of a video clip (for an ending for example). In Movie maker there was a frame capture button thagt created a JPG and then I woudl just ad this. How can I do this is Vegas?
Thanks
TedT

3 ways i know of:

1] Snapshot: Take a "Snapshot" of last frame and place it back at the end of the Event

2] VeloEnvel: Insert a velocity Envelope and insert an HOLD point on the last frame.

3] Cancel Looping: Right click on the Event > Select "Properties" and disengage "Looping". Then go back to Event and stretch the END of the event and 'cos it will not LOOP the last frame will be extended beyond its "real" length.

Grazie
