Vegas - and most other 'pro' editors can do just about anything (except complex 3d compositing) - the only limits are imagination skll and expirience.
If you are new to editng to create truly impressive visuals is a huge challenge - my first pop vid took me 2 weeks of editing, 8 hours a day - and most of that was just finding my way around the editor.
People on the forum can give you tips but we cant supply any magic fixes.
I have been at this 5 years and only now do i feel confident to say I can edit.... and i am still learning.
It's a long but fun road untill you can imagine something and make it happen - practice and practice and practice makes perfect, eventually.
