Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

If you're on Vegas, video and audio are grouped together. To 'ungroup' the elements, select the media with your cursor and press the U key. Now you can manipulate them individually.

I would strongly advise you that if you are using ANY of the SONY NLE's to download and read the manual. It is packed full of straightforward techniques as well as very advanced ones. NOT to have the manual at your elbow is placing yourself in a very weak position. Then, if you are STILL having an issue come back here.
