Default Newbie issues with Sony Vegas 8
Hey all,
I've just got myself Sony Vegas 8.0 and I'm finding some issues while bringing video into the program. I have tried various video formats (.avi , .mov, .wmv) and all either load only the audio, or, in the case of a .wmv, will not import at all.
My specs all fit for the program and I am currently running it on a Vista Home machine.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is not my experience at all. What version, release and build number of Vegas do you have?

I have version 8.0, build number 144
I have yet to install Media Manager, might that be the issue?
