Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Video capture HDR-SR1E

Hi All

Can anyone help with this. Sorry but I know I'm been a bit thick but how do I capture directly from my camera to vegas 8? The camera I'm using is the sony HDR-SR1E which on the whole isn't to bad but it comes with a crappy usb cable. The blurb talks about firewire, can you convert for usb to firewire or can you use a usb capture card? Any help would be hugely apprectiated.

Cheers

Nick
