Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Problem while loadig avi file
Every time when a big avi file (12 GB) is being uploaded I get an error when its finished.
An error occoured or something, and then vegas shut down :( Anyone who has got the same error?

Help needed asap, thanks alot!

What's the state of your "capture" hard disk? Plenty of spare space? Defragmented?
Is it formated as FAT32 or NTFS?
Is it connected via PATA/SATA/USB
Is it the same drive as your system files are on?
All these thing can affect performance/cause errors
