Hey, i wonder if anyone can help. I've been using sony vegas for a long time and it's been fine. I edit a lot of video footage that i have filmed via the fraps program, then i input the raw movie file, usually 3.91gb in size. Now, i have managed ti import all the files i wish to use but one, which, whenever i click it do import completley freezes up and locks vegas so i have to end the process and re-open.

It's only this file out of the 4 (all 3.91gb in size) that is causing this problem. I have noticed, that this file is only 3.90 instead of 3.1 like the others as it should, but i'm not sure if this is the cause of the problem. Can anyone assist me by anychance? I can import it to windows movie maker no problem.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that they are in the .avi format.

Oops, i meant sony vegas 7.0e

Anybody have any ideas? I've tried using the new Sony Vegas 8.0 Trial and i appear to be having exactly the same problem.
