Whenever i open Sony Vegas 7.0e i keep getting a message saying 
"The MSSQL$SONY_MEDIAMGR Service does not exist or the current account does not have enough prvilege to manage it"
And then when i try to add a song to my video this is what it looks like when i right click

It's not the demo is it - sorry if that sounds patronisimg, but often it is best to get the obvious out of the way.

are you running Vista?
Media Manager is an add on that gets installed automatically in 7 it needs the Dot.NET installed
If you can get into Vegas you can disable MM in the options on the first tab you see.

Im on XP and i'll try the disable MM thing now..
Edit: The MM wasn't in options as far as i see but i disabled it from "view" but still no change, i can't add music and still the message comes up

Disengaging MM from "View" only removes the appearance of it happening, it is STILL active.
GO > Options > Preferences > General > Waayyyy down the bottom of the list, there are 2 Media Manager options - disengage both.
That should kill it. Shame really, I use it all the time.

Thank you that worked, but do you know why i can add all the songs ive had for a while to video but why i can't add any songs i have recently got?

I don't know of the one in "Options", but I do know of the 2 that are in: Options > Preferences > General
These are:
1- Save usage media relationships in active media library
2- Enable Media Manager
Where is the one in "Options"?
