Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Can you do a step zoom in vegas?

Hello all -- I'm used to zooming etc. But i'd love to do a "step zoom" where the camera cuts in closer and closer. to the subject ..as opposed to smoothly zooming in. I know I can do it by cutting...but it would be wonderful if I could just set "key frames" and i nstruct vegas to "jump" to the next location as opposed to zooming. Any way to do this?

Oh yessss.....

1/- Put in your zooms along the Timeline. Your keyframes will appear my magic.

2/- HIGHLIGHT all the K/Fs - Hold down Shift and drag across thos K/Fs.

3/- Right click on at least ONE of the highlighted K/Fs and choose HOLD.

Done!
