I'm trying to make a mask that looks like blood pouring down over text. I'm a bit noobish when it comes to using masking animations/FX at this point and was looking for tips or tricks on how to do this or if it's even possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

yup, that second one is exactly what i am looking to do. A couple questions - I'm new to using masks but i get the idea behind it; How do I make it transparent like that over the text and how do I add the color.
