Hi,

I have searched the forums but i cant find the answer to this problem.

When i add an effect such as film grain it only applys it to one side of the video clip. i.e. one side is unaffected and the other is affected.

Im new to Vegas so your help would be most apprecited.

I didnt realise that it only priviews the effect on half of the screen and obviously when its rendered its on the whole clip...duh

One of the buttons immediately above the preview area allows you to set it to preview on the left, right, whole preview area or a cut out. It's very useful - experiment.
