k so i got a logo for my school productions company and i think its rather bland so i was wondering if there was a way in vegas to create a spotlight effect that would kinda figure 8 around the picture for a few seconds. i was going to do this in photoshop but it would take like 150+ pictures prolly so i would like an easy way out lol. i have no clue what im doin in vegas and really its the only video editing program ive ever touched and ive only messed with it for like 10 minutes so a video tut would be awesome but any and all help is appreciated thx

Have a play with the 'light rays' and 'bump map' - thay will do precisely what you ask, after some fiddling about.
