I've only started using this program 2 days ago and so far its great. Anyways I can figure out how to blend text into the video. The search thing says that i have to open up the text media, which i do, then click on the 'left pane for text-plug in'? Can someone tell me how you blend in text with clips? thanks.

To add text on top of video, create a track above the video track. Right click in the track above the video and select Insert Text Media from the drop down. Make sure the text media is above the video at the point you require.

If you want to adjust the opacity levels, place your curser at the top of the text media on your timeline and the cursor will change to a hand. Just pull this down and the text opacity level will drop.
