Default lighting, please help.

alright so i was watching the video below earlier and i was wondering how to make the lighting like that in sony vegas or if that was just the original lighting. even in his other video, the second one below. the lighting seems very like calm i dont know how to explain it. if you know how to make the lighting like that on vegas please tell.

I'm guessing he just played with the curves and contrast.

The first video looks like a few animation layers plus a chromakey folllowed by a mask and a colorization and some curves and contrast.

The second video looks like simple flourescent ceiling light plus like CP said, playing with curves and contrast.
