I'm not really all that new to Sony Vegas 6 - as far as basic editing goes.
Here's my problem.
I took a lot of pictures of my Granddaughter's graduation, and recorded about 4 minutes of Video with a still camera. The format is .mov.
I put the pictures in a slideshow, but the video is low quality by comparison to the stills.
What I want to do is run the video clips in the lower righthand corner as a picture in picture while the slidshow of the stills runs normal.
In the preview it looks like the videoclips show less pixelation than when running in the full window.
The final product will be burned as a DVD.
Will the reduced size show halfway decent on a TV screen? The full size clips are less than stellar quality. They didn't look to great when I hooked my camera to my TV for previewing after I shot the pics and the video.
I haven't rendered the Vegas file yet - maybe one of you has a better Idea?
TIA.

The problen is that video will be compressed even further when you render, you can try it but I don't think it will turn out well. Best of luck though.

I'll try rendering it and then preview fullscreen on my computer.
If it looks to yacky, I'll just burn the movie clips on a CD so my granddaughter can watch them on her computer.
The PiP effect is nice - I never tried it before, but I still have a lot of VHS tapes that need to be edited and converted to DVD. I'm sure I can work it in somewhere.
Thanks for the feedback.
