This is probably a stupid question but I have searched this forum and have not found an answer. I have only used Vegas a few times so forgive me. I was working on a video and ended up with a small gap in the middle that I needed to remove. I highlighted the gap and deleted it. This worked although it may have not been the correct way to do it. The problem now is that everything to the right of the seam where the gap was is highlighted pink and I can not edit any of it. I am sure I have something turned on that is causing this but cant find it. Thanks.

Vegas is telling you your tracks are out of synchronization, this feature allows you to see synchronization problems at a glance.
