Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Just had a chance to set it up again. Now I'm becoming familiar with it, it's a doddle - praticularly with Grazie's pointers on moving anchors. And it does exactly as Grazie says - just use track movement on the child track to get the bit you want to show though. (I realise this post hasn't contributed anything to the thread, I'm just validating Grazie's contribution - roll on the screencast)

And the important thing here is that sometimes we have to dig in a bit for that sweet spot within Vegas.

Just because there might appear to be several ways in doing something within Vegas, this may not be the way that it is designed to work.

Getting to understand the finer points of Parent<>Child compositing has much to do with it here. Get an understanding of that, and there is much more to be of use.

No Tim, your post IS contributing quite a bit, and that is YOU have seen what s possible. That's been my task over the last few days with this.

As to Gord doing his Screencast - he has my VEG and PNG-screengrabs to work from.

Grazie
