Hi,

I was recommended Sony Vegas from this forum, and I have to say I love the package! It has so many features all in one, I like how you can cut sections completely out of the video (couldn't do that in Windows Movie Maker), I really like the blurring effect you can add.

I want to ask the following question please for those Sony Vegas experts out there (i'm just a beginner)

Q. Is there any feature where I can mute 'parts' of the audio, not all of it, just a section?

^ If not, any tips on how to do this another way maybe?

You can either add a audio envelope or just cut that part of the audio out.

When I cut the audio out, it cuts part of the video aswell. is there any way of locking the video track?

Thankyou -- Once I seperated the Audio from the Video, I was able to edit out sections of the audio without effecting the video!
