hey guys, im new here and i have just setup my profile, but it doesnt seem like you can use a gif as your avatar, is there any way to use an animated gif as your avatar or is it just jpeg and stills?

Is it because of the file size of the gif ? It looks like there's a limit of 19.5kb on here.
Even a gif with only 20 video frames comes out at over 100kb when I do it with Ulead Cool 3D

+ you can create your own animated signature (gif) from video clip with tool called Video Avatar
