Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Event FX not appearing in Preview

Struggling with Vegas 7 here -

I'm not able to view things like brightness/contrast in the preview window. Spent hours trying to see what changes I was making but they refused to appear in the preview. I then drove to Borders and Barnes & Noble to find a book that might show me what I'm doing wrong - but to no avail.

Even though I was unable to see if there was a change, I suspected it was there but it wasn't visible, so I rendered what I had done already and sure enough I found that I had over-brightened the scene.

What am I doing wrong? Is there an option to view eventFX changes in the preview window that I inadvertantly shut off?

I see the icon and also see that FX bypassed is checked. But it will not let me uncheck it. What am I missing here?

Wow THAT WORKED!

I sure wish I found this group about 6 hours ago. I've spent literally hours trying to figure it out.

Thank you so much for your quick reply and help.
