The two probably don't go hand in hand. Quality always has a price tag.

Why not photoshop yourself one? Grab a still from a real newsroom and work with that.

Virtual Sets are just still images right?
Is it easy to make one on photoshop? How would you make the different camera angles?

how do you create a virtual set with a desk in it and have the people sitting behind the desk but infront of the background of the set?

"how do you create a virtual set with a desk in it and have the people sitting behind the desk but infront of the background of the set?"
You can make the virtual set in photoshop first.
Duplicate layer
Save it. Now cut out the desk, select inverse, then hit delete. You won't see anything change as of yet. Make the original layer invisible by clicking the eyeball.
Now all you should see is the desk. Go to file->save as and save it as a .PSD file.
So when you go into your editing program, pull in the original and the one with just the desk. On your top most video track, put the desk PSD in the timeline. On the next video track put your live footage in and ChromaKey the background out.
On the lower video track put the complete virtual set in. Everything should line up fine.
Hope I helped..-Duska

Lets go question by question.. If you want different angles of the background, you would have to take different stills from those angles or make them in photoshop. But remember, if you do different angles on backgrounds, you will have to do the same angles in your chroma key'd video. When its off, it really looks off, you might be better off using a straight on shot and then using the pan/crop tool to zoom in post to give a feel of a non-static shot.
Picture by picture (which I didn't state in my post, but I'll try my best to help) is when you draw a pic, move something a bit, move a bit more then take the saved files and piece together one by one. If your looking for a smooth video and your doing that you need to be real slick on the movement. If you do this it usually looks choppy unless you do a decent amount of frames.. This can be very time consuming. What are you trying to do exactly?
