Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Problem rendering MP3 audio. Vegas 7

First off I'm not really a expert in this but I have used vegas before and it worked fine. But with my new computer I am unable to render audio in greater quality then 56kbps with mp3.

When rendering to a .avi file and selecting MPEG Layer-3 for audio the maximum quality that I can choose is 56kbps.

Also I've installed AC3 codec but it dont even show up on the list of choosable codecs when rendering.'

Maybe this is a problem with vegas not willing to accept the codecs or something i really dont know... All help is appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Edit: After some googling I came across this Download LAME ACM Codec 3.97 - It enables you to use the Lame MP3 encoding engine in e.g. VirtualDub, FlasK MPEG etc - Softpedia wich alowed the Lame mp3 codec to be used by editing software. So problem solved

Default

Are you using a demo V7, some bits are not available.

If you are talking about mp3, then select mp3 and then just underneath select a profile for it, there should be higher options there if not then the buttons on the right allow you to modify the preset and make a new one.
