First off, Hey people! new to this forum

Basically I was wondering, my friend moviemaker, has a nice circular effect in his videos, anyone have any idea what process of media fx he uses to achieve this? its in 00:43 of this video WarcraftMovies.com - World of Warcraft Movies

It has a ball coming from the corner of the screen and transitioning it into the new clip of the movie, also, the ball has a nice ripple-ish effect along the edge, anyone know how this is achieved?

plugin or manual vegas editing you think?


Also, other than Wax, can anyone recommend some freeware plugins to add effects / transitions to vegas 7?
