Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

OK! You have VegPlat. Does this support Scripting? I think not.

Only the full-blown version of Vegas supports Scripting:

I'm guessing here, but you didn't know that Vegas Plat didn't? Yeah? In which case I would strongly advise you to familiarise yourself with the features available. Seems we have been wasting out collective time.

Go look at the SONY comparison chart for Vegas > Movie Studio and Platinum. Look under the section: Editing and Media Management . . . it IS the last item.

Remember, you have Vegas Plat.

Cheema, take note!

Thanks Vegasarian.

The footage from this camera is extremely good quality anyway (in my opinion) so to edit without any loss would be great. I might give it a go.

Cheers

That reply is totally un-called for. Grazie is an extremely knowledgeable helper through and through and if it wasn't for him, you wouldn't even have the answer.... even though its not the answer you wanted.

I sometimes wonder what people want for free. Please moderate your comments in future.

I have checked the original post and YOU definitely said VEGAS 7, so we gave you information with that knowledge.

Read G's post carefully he is not suggesting you need the full version to get information, just to get know your software and so post the correct information to get the correct reply so you do NOT waste our time, giving your the wrong information. You could have apologised for not knowing and things would have continued but no you have to blame us for you incompetence

If only WE knew You Was a p***k before we started we would not have wasted our precious time telling you something you know nothing about, its idiots like you you don't have a clue what you are doing and then when we make a comment go crying to your mother.
It has taken me years to learn my trade and gain the knowledge I have and tossers like you come and and want it for free and I believe in helping people as much as i can but t****rs like are slowly putting me off.

I suggest you close you account and go somewhere else with your tail between your legs,, our Grazie is a a highly talented and knowledge sharing person you will obviously never be.
PS learn to use your keyboard correctly this is not an SMS web site
