Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Question Noob question: Paste event attributes

Hi again,

I've pretty much decide to switch to Vegas Movie Studio now. However, I was having a play last night and had a problem. I understand that I should be able to set the fade in/fade out on one event, copy the event, select all events and "paste event attributes" to apply those fades to all events in the timeline. However, when I try to do this the "paste event attribuites" menu item is greyed out. What am I doing wrong? I even looked in the help and followed step-by-step and it still doesn't allow me to "paste event attributes"...

Help,

If its greyed out then most likely the studio version dose not allow it, The full version dose.

Thing is, it is in the Studio version help and other options not supported in the Studio version, like veocity envelopes, aren't shown.

OK, I take it back. I opened a support query with Sony and they have also said that it is only available in the full Vegas.

I have to say that I find it a bit pants that the option is there but disabled if the program doesn't support it - and having it in the help as well is even worse...
