Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default new to video editing Please help.

hello,

as you can see from the title i am new to video editing and need some advice and possible help with an avi that i want to edit.

i currently have media studio 10 installed on Vista.
i have an avi which i want to crop down to about 2 mins but also have the sound and video fade in and out. i have tried doing this in various video editing packages but haven’t succeeded..

Is there a bit of software around that make this process easy? Or a tutorial that can take me through the process step by step?

once done i would like to save this as an avi and embed it in a flash animation that i am putting together,....

i hope that i have made sense

Thanks in advance
