Hi,
I have both Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 6.0 and Sound Forge 8.0 so I can use either for my audio.
I want to distort the sound of a persons voice on an interview, so that you can still understand what it being said but you wouldn't be able to recognise the person by their voice, as the interview has to be anonymous. This'll go with the blur/silhouette on the footage.
Thanks,
Josie

I would use the pitch control plug-in to lower the .... pitch.... of the voice. The lower you go, the more unrecogniseable it'll become.

Thanks, I have already tried that one. It's probably useable but the problem is the voice is a very strong welsh accent and she's the only welsh person in the office so I need to get rid of the accent!

If its in silouette anyway, just re-voice it yourself perhaps and distort that?

That would actually make a lot of sense although I probably wouldn't be able to recreate the right intonnation etc. I think the pitch bend will do it - thanks for the help!
