Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

I do this 2 ways: PiP or MASKING

PiP( Picture In Picture );

Use Feather? No? Not what you want?

MASKING

Method: Here you are going to MASK away what you don't want!

#1 Track 1 - Your insert Picture

#2 Track 2 - Your Background

Now, use the MASKING tool in Pan/Crop. This has far more control, feather, IN/OUT, size etc etc

But if neither of these fit the bill, then you are asking about something entirely different?

But I think you are after manipulating 2 videos inside one frame? Yes?

Hi,

You could use the "Track Motion" tool.

Resize the picture or video in the top track, this will resize the track and show the second track behind it. You can select the look you want from here.

You can also now add a 2D Drop Shadow or a 2D Glow, this will define the edges.

Hope this helps.

Use track motion for the pip and then the Border plug in for the clip will work.
