Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Uploading help.

Hey guys, I am in a bit of bother here, I really need some help.

I want to upload a video to Youtube. I render the video as AVI, but Youtube says that the video is too big. I go back into Vegas to render the video as MPEG. The MPEG file is then ok to upload to Youtube.

But here is the tricky part.

As my video has added filters on, when I render it as MPEG. I will then watch it after it has rendered but half way through the video where the filters will come in, the video will stutter for about a second then carry on. When I render the video in AVI, everything runs smoothly.

Any ideas would be so much appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Did you import the finished avi and re-render that, or the original project?

Do you mean importing the AVI file and rendering it again as MPEG?

I tried that and it still stutters when the filters appear.

Could it be something to do with my settings or something?
