Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

You can combine rubber banding with the velocity envelope or render and apply another one.

See number 2 on this thread.

Also once you have applied the above techniques you could render that sequence out and apply the effects to the rendered sequence. - Do this over and over

I've done both of the above but it's a laborious process.
When I watch scenes on the tele whereby 5 minutes goes by in relatively few seconds I can't help but wonder how they do it.
Thanks for advice.

I did this in an afternoon using the techniques described.

The whole video started out at two hours.

There are 2 ways of doing it - Using the above techniques of using a slow frame rate camera. Unless you have access to a low frame rate camerqa you are stuck with these methods.

I have produced several vidoes for corp clients using these methods as the cost of hiring a speciality camera cant be justified.
