| | Moving a project to different drive. I decided to get a new dedicated drive for video work as I'm finding it a bit slow working on my C drive (My only NTFS drive) - I guess it must be fragmented tp hell and back etc etc.
Anyway. What is the best way to move a project? I can move the project file, of course, but all the individual clips are in different sub-directories in my c:\videowork directory. |

| | If you move all your individual clips and your project file to a new folder on your new drive then open your veg file you'll get a the window telling you 'The following files could not be found in the specified location' and you can select the 'Specify a new location or replacement file' and browse to the new location of your files. |

| | And the best bit is that once it's found one, it finds all the others automatically. (assuming they're in the same folder) |

| | Whenever you start a project you should always create a dedicated folder for that project.
All media, project files, graphics, etc. should be kept in that folder so if you need to back up or move it - its all in one place | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
