Okay I right clicked the screen where the video preview because no video shows up when I put an .avi on the timeline and i see Preview Device and it says none as the preview device i tried working all the ones it comes up with none of them work. and also it says preview: 360x240x32 and its red.. Help Please.

two things to look at are:

make sure you have the small TV icon turned off

and that the button left of the "copy to clipboard" button is also off.
