Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default .AVI's Not working on SONY

Okay, I tried uploading a video from my camera, and it shows up black but you can hear the audio. When I tried playing the movie after saving it, it shows up as an audio file. Help

The first lesson of capturing is this. THROW THE USB LEAD IN THE BIN!

Go and buy a firewire card (if you don't have one installed) and use that. USB just doesn't cut it.

I take it you have a firewire, just go to capture put your firewire in your pc and your camera and try again.
